A diverse group of young people and adults stand together outdoors in front of a building, all giving a thumbs-up.

Students from La Joya Juarez-Lincoln High School's CTE Summer Work-Based Learning Program recently visited the City of Palmview, where they explored the many careers and services that help communities grow, thrive, and serve their residents. ❤️🖤

From municipal operations and permitting to public works and community planning, experiences like these connect classroom learning to real-world careers while helping students discover new opportunities for their future.

Through strong partnerships, La Joya ISD continues to advance Priority 4: Community Trust, Unity & Partnerships by creating meaningful learning experiences that strengthen connections between students, schools, and the community. 🤝✨

Thank you to the City of Palmview for investing in our students and helping inspire the next generation of leaders and public servants! 👏
