La Joya ISD is investing in our dedicated staff. At the May 20 Board Meeting, the District presented the Proposed 2026-2027 Budget and compensation plan focused on staff retention.

Proposals include:

  • A 3% general pay raise across the board for all employees (based on midpoint)
  • A starting salary increase for teachers, nurses, and librarians to $58,300

Title IX Coordinator

The District designates and authorizes the following person as the Title IX coordinator to be responsible for coordinating the District’s efforts to comply with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, as amended, for employees:
