FAQs – La Joya ISD Kronos Timekeeping
All La Joya ISD employees are required to use the Kronos Time Clock system.
Non-exempt employees (hourly staff) must clock in and out for the workday, including lunch breaks.
Exempt employees (salaried staff) must clock in at the start and out at the end of their workday.
Employees leaving campus for personal reasons must clock out and back in upon return.
Kronos is the official timekeeping system for La Joya ISD, ensuring accurate and reliable tracking of employee work hours. It helps:
Maintain fair and transparent payroll processing.
Ensure compliance with district policies and labor laws.
Reduce errors and manual corrections in timekeeping.
Provide employees and supervisors with real-time attendance tracking.
If you forget to clock in or out:
Notify your designated timekeeper as soon as possible.
The missed punch will be reported to your Principal or Department Head for correction.
Repeated missed punches may lead to disciplinary action or impact your evaluation.
