La Joya ISD Community, With profound sadness, we share the loss of Ashley M. Fuentes Pano, a beloved 9th-grade student at Juarez-Lincoln High School. Our hearts and prayers are with her family, friends, and all impacted by this tragedy. La Joya ISD stands united in support, offering counseling and assistance to our community during this time of mourning. 🇺🇸💜 Honoring Our Heroes: The Purple Heart Project 💜🇺🇸 Today, La Joya ISD proudly dedicated the Purple Heart Project, an incredible initiative created by our La Joya Juarez-Lincoln High School students to honor the military heroes in our community who were physically injured while serving our country. During a heartfelt ceremony, JLHS JROTC cadets unveiled the new Purple Heart parking space at the Central Administration Building. This project is a powerful collaboration between our students, the Purple Heart Project, and La Joya ISD. It’s a lasting tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of our military heroes, and a reminder to our students about the importance of serving others. 💜✨ As a district committed to College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR), we’re proud to support initiatives that inspire leadership, gratitude, and service.
