November is National Native American Heritage Month! This month provides an opportunity to honor and celebrate the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Native American communities. Together, we can learn, appreciate, and honor their stories!

🚫 Join us for the “Don’t Blow It: Anti-Vaping Campaign” this November! We encourage everyone to wear WHITE/GRAY every Tuesday to show your support. This campaign aims to educate students, parents, and the community about the dangers of vaping and promote healthier choices. Let’s work together to protect our youth and spread awareness!

🎉 This week we had the incredible opportunity to showcase La Joya ISD’s P-TECH program to representatives from Educate Texas and the Dell Foundation! Our guests got an up-close look at how our Precision Manufacturing program is equipping students with vital skills for today’s workforce. 🔧✨ They toured our state-of-the-art facility, exploring the impressive equipment funded by Texas Workforce Commission's JET Grants. A big thank you to South Texas College for joining us and for helping our students earn valuable dual credit hours in the Precision Manufacturing field. Salinas STEM Early College High School and the first-ever student from La Joya ISD and the Rio Grande Valley to win a national Broadcom award from Society for Science! 🇺🇸 Gary, just 14 years old, claimed the $10,000 Broadcom Coding with Commitment Award! 🏆💸 Combining his passion for STEM and community impact, Gary used his coding and engineering skills to create models of train suspension systems to explore factors in train derailments. 🚆💻 His groundbreaking project shows the incredible talent and dedication he's bringing to the national stage! 🌍 Gary, you’ve made La Joya ISD proud! 🎓🌠 Keep shining and leading the way for young innovators! ✨👏 #LegacyOfExcellence
