The bilingual education department of the La Joya Independent School District organized an informative session for parents of PK3 and PK4 students to discuss the advantages and time distribution strategy of the two-way dual language program.

Pre-K teachers & assistants dive into the newly adopted The Creative Curriculum, embracing innovative high-quality instructional materials to enhance early childhood education.

La Joya ISD conducted training for teachers on new instructional materials: Zearn for grades K-5 and Carnegie Learning for grades 6-9, aiming to enhance students' learning experience for an outstanding year.

La Joya ISD was thrilled to host the initial training session for the bilingual department. During this session, teachers were taught how to utilize dynamic visual tools to boost cognitive, linguistic, and social skills for bilingual students.










La Joya ISD was delighted to welcome more than 400 teachers to the first training session for the new high-quality instructional materials being introduced this academic year. Eureka Math will be utilized for grades K-5, and Carnegie Learning will be implemented for grades 6-9. Educators are familiarizing themselves with the LJISD Math Curriculum for 2024-2025 and will have access to a range of resources and outstanding instructional materials to effectively deliver each math lesson.

🥎 Congratulations to Arlette Hernandez on her selection to the Texas Girls Coaches Association 6A All-State Team and her invitation to participate in the Texas All-Star Game, representing La Joya High School Softball!
The game will take place in Arlington, Texas, on June 26th. Way to go Arlette best of luck!! 🥎
