Happy New Year

Let's jumpstart to a healthy New Year 2023!

1. Masks are not required, however, if you are going to wear one, wear it correctly by covering your entire nose and mouth. Wearing the mask below your nose does not protect you or anyone around you. Being that it is a new year, get new fresh masks.

2. If you were sick, get a new toothbrush or soak the toothbrush head in antibacterial mouthwash for 3-5 minutes. It's Easy! You can do it yourself or tell your parents. The bacteria is removed and re-infection is avoided.

3. If you were sick, when you get home, tell your parents to clean and disinfect the thermometer that was used to check your temperature. Using 70% alcohol will work.

4. Staying hydrated is a very good thing to do, but using a dirty water bottle is not.! Wash your water bottle with soap and water, especially the hard to reach crevices in the lid.

5. Clean your phone and no, wiping it on your shirt doesn't count and while you are at it, clean your earbuds too. Lysol disinfecting wipes will sanitize them.

6. Washing your hands regularly and thoroughly with soap and water at home and at school prevents many illnesses. Be like Nike, Just Do It! The Sanitizer dispensers are still up in the halls, use them, they are there for your use, it is free!

7. Cover your cough or sneeze with your jacket or shirt. There are posters located in the restrooms and throughout campus to show you how to cover your cough and your sneeze.

Let's start this year as healthy as we can be!
