Principal's Message

Principal's Message - December 2024

Dear La Joya Early College High School Family,

As I walk through our hallways and visit our classrooms these past six weeks, I've been truly amazed by what I've seen. Our students are working harder than ever, taking on the challenge of earning both high school and college credits with remarkable determination. Every day, I witness their dedication as they move between high school classes and college courses, maintaining the high standards we expect at La Joya Early College High School.

Our Students' Success

I couldn't be prouder of how our students have stepped up to the challenge this past six weeks and first semester. They're not just attending classes – they're excelling in them. Watching them work on their college coursework while keeping up with their high school responsibilities shows me just how capable and mature they are. Their commitment to their education and their future is truly inspiring.

Our Dedicated Staff

To our teachers, professors, and staff – you are the backbone of our success. I see firsthand how you go above and beyond every single day. You're not just teaching; you're mentoring, guiding, and supporting our students through every step of their educational journey. Your dedication to our early college mission has made all the difference in our student's achievements, and I am deeply grateful for your tireless efforts.

Our Supportive Families

To our parents and families – your support means everything. I know it's not easy having a student in an early college program. The late nights of studying, the extra assignments, the college-level expectations – your support at home makes it all possible. Thank you for believing in your children and for partnering with us to help them succeed.

As we head toward the end of this semester, I couldn't be prouder to be part of this incredible community. What we're achieving together at La Joya Early College High School shows what's possible when students, educators, and families work as one toward academic excellence.

With pride and gratitude,
