Dear La Joya ISD Community,
We want to provide you with an important update regarding the recent posting of applications for the Board of Managers by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). It is crucial to understand that despite this development, the democratically elected Board remains in place until the appeal process is completed. During this time, the Board and Administration are dedicated to serving our community and prioritizing the needs of our students.
While the TEA has initiated the process of appointing a Board of Managers, it is important to emphasize that the final decision rests upon the completion of the appeal process. Until then, our elected Board members continue to work diligently to ensure the smooth functioning of our District and the welfare of our students.
We want to assure you that the Board members are fully committed to their responsibilities. They are actively engaged in making decisions that positively impact our educational system, prioritizing student needs, and striving for excellence in all aspects of education within La Joya ISD.
Throughout this challenging period, it is our shared commitment to provide our students with a safe and quality educational environment. This event brings Region One superintedents and their leadership teams together to feature and streamline student services and strategies as well as present the latest legislative updates and challenges facing districts today. š¼āØ
We are incredibly proud of our exceptional leaders for their commitment to growth and learning. By participating in this conference, they have shown their dedication to providing the highest quality education and support for our students and staff at La Joya ISD. š«š
