Organized by Region One GEAR UP and the CCMR departments, this event aimed to bridge the gap between the classroom and the real world, equipping students with the skills and knowledge they need to navigate the challenges of college and beyond.

From career readiness to life skills and college preparedness, today's symposium covered a wide array of topics crucial for success in what we call - the real world.
Kicking off the event was a complete session featuring a keynote address from LJISD Police Department Sergeant Bañuelos, whose inspiring words set the tone for the day ahead. With passion and wisdom, Sgt. Bañuelos shared insights drawn from personal experience, urging students to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.
