La Joya Independent School District

La Joya ISD families had the opportunity to apply for utility assistance from Hidalgo County Community Assistance Agency this week February 21^st & 23^rd .  La Joya ISD is deeply grateful to all who made this event possible.  Hidalgo County employees assisted families with the application process throughout the afternoon.  School district employees set up booths to promote several school district programs and initiatives.  Social workers and parent educators were present to invite parents to become parent volunteers.  Counseling and Migrant Departments were available to offer information to the community.   We would like to extend a huge thank you to all the schools who allowed their talented students to provide us with a fun filled afternoon with their outstanding performances.
